Kentucky Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 whole eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. pecans, pieces or whole
Preparation
    Combine syrup, sugar,
    salt, butter and vanilla and mix well. Add slightly
    beaten
    eggs.
    Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie crust. Bake in
    preheated
    oven
    at
    400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    I
    usually put a piece of foil over the pie for the last
    few minutes so it won't get too brown on top.
