Frosty Lime Fizz - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) can pineapple juice, chilled (1 1/2 c.)
    1/2 c. lime juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 qt. lime sherbet
    28 oz. bottle lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
Preparation
    Put pineapple juice, lime juice and sugar in blender.
    Spoon half of sherbet in blender.
    Adjust lid; blend until ingredients are smooth.
    Pour 1/2 cup of this mixture into each fo 6 (12 ounce) glasses.
    Add additional scoop of sherbet to each glass.
    Fill each glass with carbonated beverage.
    Serves 6.
    This can also be served from punch bowl as punch.
