"Cheese Souffle" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. American cheese, grated
Preparation
    Scald in double boiler until cheese is melted, then add 3 well beaten egg yolks.
    Allow to cool before adding 3 stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Fold in lightly . Bake 40 minutes in moderate oven.
