Wild Plum Liqueur - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 fifth vodka
    8 c. wild plums, pricked
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in vodka.
    Put in a glass jar with plums and cover with a towel or Saran Wrap.
    Punch a few holes in Saran Wrap so it can breathe.
    Leave for 8 to 10 weeks.
    Never stir.
    Plums will darken and become hard as aging takes place.
    Strain and chill.
