Karo Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1/4 c. boiling water
    2 to 4 c. parched peanuts (depending on how nutty you feel)
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup and water.
    Boil until forms soft balls in cool water.
    Add peanuts, cook until turns amber color.
    Remove from heat and add baking soda; stir well.
    Pour into buttered pans.
    May use pecans instead of peanuts for a great pecan brittle!
