Special Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 bag Ore-Ida frozen hash browns
    1 large container sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 bag shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    For best results, smash hash browns on cabinet several times before opening.
    In a very large bowl, mix all ingredients together, except butter.
    Melt butter completely; mix thoroughly into other ingredients.
    Spread evenly into a 9 x 12-inch pan. Cook at 375\u00b0 until top is brown, about 1 1/2 hours.
