Perfect Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. shortening
    2 yeast cakes
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Pour milk over shortening and sugar.
    Add 1/2 of the flour and mix, then add remaining flour and yeast.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Let stand for 15 to 20 minutes, then use as much of the dough as needed.
    Store remaining dough in refrigerator.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.
