Granny Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 c. warm water
    2 eggs
    5 c. flour
Preparation
Add shortening and sugar to boiling water; then let cool.
Mix yeast, warm water and eggs; stir well.
Then add flour alternately with shortening mixture.
    Let set in refrigerator overnight.
Pour out on floured surface; knead just enough to handle easily.
Use a biscuit cutter to cut out rolls.
Dip in melted butter; then fold in half.
Let rise about 3 hours; then bake at 400\u00b0 about 20 minutes.
    Makes about 50 medium rolls.
They will continue to rise and bake better if started in a cold oven.
