Hamburger Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. brown gravy mix
    1 large onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Season ground beef with salt and pepper.
    Shape into 4 large patties.
    Brown in large skillet.
    Mix brown gravy as directed on package plus 1/2 more cup of water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Drain grease from the hamburger patties.
    Pour gravy mixture over the meat. Slice onion thin and arrange on top of patties.
    Bring to boil. Cover pan and reduce heat to a simmer.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
