Homemade Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. onions
    6 cloves
    1/2 c. oil
    18 c. tomato juice
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. sweet basil
    3 bay leaves (remove after cooking)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oregano
    4 green peppers
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. hot peppers (optional)
    6 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 celery stalk (optional)
Preparation
    Combine and cook until thick and vegetables are tender, 1 to 3 hours.
    Put in hot, sterilized pint jars; seal and set aside to cool.
    Mark and store in dark place.
