Strawberry Cordial - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 pints fully ripe strawberries hulled and quartered
1 pint 80 proof vodka
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar

Preparation

In large glass bowl, stir together the strawberries and vodka.
Cover and refrigerate for 5 days.
Place a large strainer over a clean bowl.
Pour the liquid from the strawberry vodka mixture through a strainer.
Then place the strawberries, a single layer at at time, on the strainer and press them gently with the back of a spoon to let juices flow freely.
