Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, chopped and shredded
    2 carrots, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped red pepper
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine all vegetables in a large bowl.
    Heat together the sugar, salt, vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Refrigerate at least 24 hours.
