Cranberry Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. oleo
4 whole chicken breasts, halved
1/2 chopped onion
2 c. apple cider
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. lemon peel
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. sugar
2 c. fresh cranberries
4 bananas, sliced
Preparation

Melt oleo in a large skillet.
Add the chicken and brown on all sides over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add 1 1/2 cups cider, salt, pepper and lemon peel.
Cover the skillet and let ingredients simmer 30 minutes.
Remove the chicken
and keep warm. Combine cornstarch with the remaining 1/2 cup cider and add to the skillet with the sugar and cranberries.
Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Return chicken to the skillet along with the sliced bananas.
Heat all ingredients to serving temperature.
