Fettucine With Chicken In Marsala - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
flour
2 Tbsp. olive oil
salt and pepper
1 medium onion, diced
1 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. minced shallot (optional)
1/2 c. dry Marsala wine
1 c. beef broth
1 large tomato, peeled and diced
3 green onions, chopped
1 lb. fettucine
Preparation

Dust chicken with flour.
Heat oil in a wide frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and cook until golden brown (about 3 to 4 minutes total).
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Drain excess pan drippings.
Add onion and mushrooms and cook until onion is soft, about 4 minutes.
Add garlic and shallot and cook 1 minute. Add wine, beef broth, tomato and green onions.
Heat through and let sauce thicken.
