Carrot Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh carrots, cut into 1/4 x 2-inch strips
    2 lb. cauliflower, separated into flowerets
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
    parsley for garnish (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Arrange carrots in ungreased 7 x 11 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Layer cauliflowerets over carrots.
    Pat with butter and sprinkle with salt and nutmeg.
    Cover and bake until vegetables are tender, about 50 to 55 minutes.
    Sprinkle with cheese and garnish with parsley.
    Yields 6 servings.
