Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 large can whole tomatoes, mashed with juice
    2 large bags frozen vegetables of your choice
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large pot, brown meat in oil; add enough water to cover. Add tomatoes; simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
    Add vegetables and seasonings.
    Cook 30 to 40 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
