Poor Man'S Perogies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. shredded cabbage
1 onion
1 c. margarine
9 lasagne noodles, cooked
8 slices American cheese
prepared instant mashed potatoes for 8
shredded Mozzarella cheese to taste
salt
pepper
Preparation

Saute cabbage and onion until golden and clear.
Place 1/3 cabbage mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan and add 3 noodles.
Repeat previous 2 layers.
Layer potatoes, then cheese, then noodles, then cabbage.
Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
Pour melted margarine over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, covered with foil.
Bake 15 more minutes, uncovered.
Let set before cutting.
