1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. water
2 egg whites, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine
sugar,
corn syrup and water in a heavy saucepan. Cook
over
medium
heat,
stirring
frequently,
until mixture comes
to
a
boil
and sugar is dissolved.
Continue cooking, stirring often, until mixture reaches soft ball stage (240\u00b0). Remove from heat, but keep warm.
