Dill Pickled Green String Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    long string beans
    1 sprig dill
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 qt. vinegar
    3 qt. water
    1 c. salt
Preparation
    Cook beans for 8 minutes; drain and immerse in ice water. Drain and pack in quart jars endways.
    Add dill and garlic per quart jar.
    Bring to a boil the vinegar, water and salt.
    Pour in jars to cover beans and seal.
