Rolled Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 c. quick rolled oats
Preparation
    Stir together flour, sugar, salt and baking soda in bowl.
    Add brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Add oats.
    Work with fingers until dough just holds together.
    Roll dough to desired thickness on board or canvas sprinkled with confectioners sugar and cut into shapes.
    Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
