Sweet And Sour Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, diagonally sliced
    1 medium green pepper, seeded and cut in 1-inch squares
    8 oz. can pineapple chunks, in their own juice
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook carrots, covered, in small amount of lightly salted water for 15 minutes or until just tender.
    Add green pepper and cover and cook 3 minutes more.
    Drain.
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
    Add water to make 1/3 cup liquid.
