Lemon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    8 egg yolks
    1/2 c. butter
    1 box almond butter cookies, crushed
    sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Prepare cake using box directions.
    Let cool.
    Combine sugar and lemon juice in saucepan.
    Add yolks.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly.
    Reduce heat and stir for 2 minutes.
    Add butter a few pieces at a time.
    Stir until melted.
    Transfer to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
    Chill.
