Half-A-Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco shortening
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Add one egg at a time; beat well after each addition.
    Combine flour and baking powder.
    Add alternately with milk in which flavoring has been added.
    Pour in greased tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until done.
