Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whipping cream
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and 1 cup cream to 238\u00b0.
    Add 1 cup cream and cook to 238\u00b0 again.
    Add 1 cup cream and cook to 240\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Put in a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.
    Cool. Cut in squares.
    Wrap individual wax papers.
