Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. strawberries
1 baked pie shell
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
few drops red food color

Preparation

Mash 1 pint of strawberries and add enough water to make 2 cups.
Put the other pint in the pie.
In a saucepan put the 2 cups of strawberries and water.
Add cornstarch and sugar.
