Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooked
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. hot water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    In double boiler combine Eagle Brand milk, chocolate and salt. Cook and stir until thick.
    Gradually add hot water.
    Continue stirring and cooking until mixture thickens (2 to 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Chill mixture in refrigerator and cool, then fold in whipping cream.
    Pour into pastry shell. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
