Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. blackberry jam (with seeds)
    1 c. nuts
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter
    and sugar.
    Add eggs, buttermilk and jam. Mix well.
    Fold in sifted dry ingredients with butter mixture. Add nuts.
    Pour into 3 greased and floured cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
