Southern Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans green beans
    2 strips bacon, cooked crisp (retain 2 Tbsp. grease)
    2 slices cured ham, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 stalk celery, chopped fine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. Creole seasoning
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp; place bacon on paper towel to soak excess grease.
    Crumble bacon.
    Reserve 2 tablespoons bacon grease and put in skillet.
    Get it fairly hot.
    Add ham, onion, celery and garlic; cook until onions start to look transparent.
    Pour ham mixture and bacon into a pan; add green beans with juice.
    Cover pan and simmer on low heat for 1/2 hour.
    Add seasonings; continue to simmer over low heat until most of liquid is gone.
