Plum Nutty Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. self-rising flour (if plain, add 4 tsp. baking powder and 3/4 tsp. salt)
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. cloves
    5 eggs
    3 small jars baby plums, strained
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix dry ingredients.
    Beat in oil, eggs and plums.
    Beat with mixer 4 minutes, until well blended.
    Fold in nuts.
    Makes 1 tube pan cake or 2 large loaves and 4 small loaves. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours (less for small loaves).
