Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 qt. cider
    1 tsp. whole allspice
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine in pot the brown sugar, salt and cider.
    Tie allspice, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg in small piece of cheesecloth.
    Slowly bring mixture of brown sugar, salt and cider to boil, with tied spices in the pot.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Remove the spices.
