Tummy Bars - cooking recipe

1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1/3 c. milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 pkg. caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. walnuts
Preparation

Turn oven on to 350\u00b0.
Mix cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup milk in bowl.
Spread 1/2 of mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake for 6 minutes.
Pour chocolate chips and nuts over baked bottom layer. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk over low heat.
Pour caramel mixture over chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread rest of cake mix over the caramel layer.
Bake for 20 more minutes.
