Overnight French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. packed light brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    12 slices bread
    6 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Place 6 slices of bread on top of syrup mixture.
    Top with remaining bread.
    Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and salt; stir until blended.
    Pour over bread and refrigerate, covered, for 9 hours.
