Icebox Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box vanilla wafers
1 box raisins
1 qt. chopped pecans
1 medium jar maraschino cherries
1 can Southern style coconut
1 can condensed milk

Preparation

Crush vanilla wafers.
Mix in raisins, pecans and coconut. Chop cherries and add to mixture.
Add condensed milk and mix thoroughly.
(Best if mixed with hands.)
Pack into a wax paper lined loaf pan.
Garnish top by sprinkling on a layer of coconut, then arranging cherry and pecan halves in a decorative pattern. Refrigerate until served.
