Cinderella Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oats
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. brown sugar (or less)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    raisins, nuts or whatever
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar (or less)
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix oats and water and let stand.
    Stir margarine, eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour and other dry ingredients.
    Stir in oatmeal. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
