Yam And Apple Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large yams
    3 large tart cooking apples
    2 c. warm apple juice
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Parboil the yams, pare and slice.
    Peel and slice the apples. Mix together the cornstarch, sugar and apple juice.
    Add the butter and lemon juice.
    Alternate layers of sliced yams and apples in a buttered casserole.
    Pour the sauce over all.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
