Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
6 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 c. finely chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts or hazelnuts)
Preparation

Cream butter; stir in milk.
Add flour, sugar, vanilla and nuts.
Mix together well.
You should have a nearly stiff dough. Form the dough into small balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes, until lightly golden.
Cool on racks and roll in powdered sugar.
May be stored in airtight container and also freezes quite well.
