Apple Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 c. corn meal
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 3/4 c. milk
    1 c. peeled and diced apples
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well, add eggs until blended.
    Stir in corn meal alternately with milk.
    Add apples.
    Pour into an 8 x 10 inch greased pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until brown.
