Sourdough Starter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine the flour, sugar and the salt in a stone crock or bowl; mix well.
    Add the water; beat to a smooth batter.
    Add the vinegar.
    Leave, covered with cloth, in warm place until sour (about 12 hours).
