New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. diced potatoes
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. chopped clams
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. flour
dash of Tabasco sauce
Preparation

Combine potatoes, clams, celery, onion and salt.
Add water and cover. Simmer 10 minutes.
Melt butter in saucepan. Remove from heat and mix in flour until completely blended. Add milk and heat until thickened. Add vegetables, liquid and spices. Heat, being careful not to boil.
