Chicken Cordon Bleu - cooking recipe

4 breast halves, boneless
4 thin slices ham
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Place meat between sheets of plastic wrap.
Pound out to 8 or 9 inch diameter with mallet, very thin but no holes.
Place 1 slice ham and cheese on bottom half, fold over other half.
Press edges to seal.
Cover with wrap.
Pound lightly.
Sprinkle cornstarch on wrap. Lightly coat meat on both sides.
Over high heat, melt butter.
Add chicken pieces.
Cook 3 minutes on each side until meat is tender and golden.
Do not overcook.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
