Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion - finely diced (cook in microwave 3 minutes)
    4 large peeled finely diced potatoes
    2 cans Snow Clam Chowder
    2 cans evaporated milk
    1 1/3 stick butter
    1 pt. half and half
    2 c. whole milk
    1 c. instant potato flakes
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in water until tender, drain.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook on medium heat for 45 minutes.
    Stir often.
