Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. quick oats
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix together flour, baking powder, soda and salt in a bowl. Add sugars, margarine, egg and vanilla.
Beat until smooth, 2 minutes.
Stir in oats and coconut.
Chill several hours, then shape into 1 inch balls, using a melon baller.
Place on greased cookie sheets and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen.
