Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 3/4 oz.) can pink salmon
    1/2 c. saltine cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. cornmeal
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 small diced onion or minced onions
    dash of garlic powder
Preparation
    Drain salmon, reserving small amount of liquid. Combine cracker crumbs and reserved liquid. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in salmon, cornmeal and other ingredients. Shape into patties. Use small amount of oil in skillet and fry patties until browned.
