Molasses Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
4 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. ginger
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 c. molasses
3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Beat egg yolks until light.
Add flour, ginger and vinegar; blend well.
Mix in molasses.
Pour into pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Egg whites and sugar may be made into meringue.
Spread on the hot pie and brown in oven for 5 minutes at 425\u00b0 or until lightly brown.
If you don't like meringue use whipped cream or a small scoop of ice cream.
