Overnight Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn in bits
    1/4 c. chopped green onion
    1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (uncooked)
    8 slices bacon, chopped and fried
    4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. salad dressing
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Layer the first 5 ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch pan in the order given.
    Add the sugar to the salad dressing; spread over the top as you would frosting.
    Top with the grated cheese.
    Cover; put in refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours.
    Serve.
