Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium, tart and firm apples
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. butter
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Dice apples and mix with sugar. Add cinnamon, flour, salt and vanilla. Pour this mixture into unbaked pie shell and dot top of fruit with 2 teaspoons butter, cut into small bits. Place crust over pie and seal firmly to edge of lower crust, turning edge up slightly to form a ridge. Prepare top crust by cutting air vents to allow steam to escape. Brush top crust with milk or cream and sprinkle 1/4 cup of sugar. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce to 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
