Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. raisins
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Boil raisins and water for 3 minutes or until plump.
    Let cool.
    Mix all dry ingredients together; set aside.
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and vanilla.
    Then add raisins.
    Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
