Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. mini size chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat egg whites with sugar until stiff. Do not underbeat.
Add salt, nuts, chocolate chips and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased foil-covered cookie sheet.
Put in oven and turn off heat immediately.
Leave overnight (or minimum of 6 hours) without opening oven door.
Yields 36 cookies.
