Ham And Cheese Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 slices fresh white bread
    6 eggs
    3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 c. ham, cubed
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    onions, mushrooms and green peppers (optional)
Preparation
    Butter 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Lay 8 slices of bread on bottom of pan.
    Sprinkle cheese, ham and vegetables, if desired, over bread.
    Put 8 more slices on top.
    Beat together eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard.
    Pour over bread slices in pan.
    Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
