Harvest Moon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. butter, margarine or shortening
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 egg yolks
    2/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add egg yolks and beat well.
    Add flour and milk alternately, beating well after each addition.
    Bake in greased and floured 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Spread with frosting when cool.
